Hope In Dark Times

Summary: The objective of this message is to remind us that there remains a hope for the believer beyond their darkest hour.
Today message is about a man named Job. The name Job means hated or persecuted.
I. Job the Man
He was a strange mixture:
He was blessed and blameless.
He was righteous and rich.
He was successful and sacrificial.
He had plenty and was prayerful.
He had money and was merciful.
II. What He Became After Life's Unexplained Blows.
His Crying became his companion.
His weeping became his wardrobe.
His pain became his possession.
His friends became his foe.
His restlessness became his role.
His burdens became his belt.
His chaos became his cover.
His riddles became his ritual.
His mercy became his money.
III. What He Loss
He loss his stuff but not his soul.
He loss his health but not his help.
He loss his wealth but not his worth.
He loss his will but not his way.
IV. What Kept Him in His Darkest Hour?
A Trusted Friend (Jesus his goel...Redeemer)
A Tested Faith
A Triumphant Future. (He knew His redeemer would avenge him)
A Transcendant Focus (After worms destroyed his body, yet in his flesh; he expected to see God.
