"Heavenly Hosts..." By Dr. Winson Butler

Summary: My uncle used to say, "Just because a man takes his boots off to go wadin’ don’t mean he plans to swim the Atlantic." That’s smart. When it comes to Angels my advice is study the Scriptures. Let’s examine it together!
Have you ever felt like someone was watching you from a distance? Maybe, standing over your shoulder? It wouldn’t be the first time and it won’t be the last!
The longer I live, the more I’m convinced Angels surround us all. Some way they are involved in the turning of this world as well as ours.
Christ also experienced the working of the Angels in His life and Ministry. Let’s examine it together!
Main Division
I. At His Birth.
a. they announced it (Lk 2:8-14)
b. they predicted it (Lk 1:26-31)
II. During His Life.
a. protecting Him (Mt 2:19-20)
b. procuring Him (Mt 4:5-6)
III. After His Resurrection.
a. before it (Mt 26:51-54)
b. announcing it (Mt 28:1-6)
IV. At His Second Coming.
a. participating in it (Mt 25:31)
b. predicting it (Acts 1:9-11)
Conclusion: Angels are all around us!
