Summary: Most Christains try cleaning Fish before they catch Fish. Even Jesus knew there are steps to take when winning the lost. Let’s examine it together!
Introduction
With so few Christians actively sharing their faith, we may never get back to the heart of the mission of the Church. Winning the lost.
How it happened I can’t be sure, many are too often preoccupied with cleaning fish rather than catching fish. We want to look good as if that meant anything to God!
Jesus knew all too well the art, the importance, might I say the steps one should take when dealing with the lost. In His Kingdom Encounter with a man named Zacchaeus Jesus illustrates Soulwinning 101 at it’s best.
i.e. The Five Stepping Stones Jesus took with Zacchaeus were:
Main Division
I. He Saw Him (1-5a)
II. He Spoke To Him (5b)
III. He Shared With Him (5a-7)
IV. He Sculpted Him (8)
V. He Sanctified Him (9-11)
Conclusion: Are we fishers of men or just keepers of an aquarium?
