Summary: Don’t get impatient with the process of our Christian life. God introduced the process during Creation.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (KJV)
It’s A Process!
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (KJV) then, to . . . . . . . . . .
Genesis 1:31~ 2:3 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (KJV)
Why do you think God took six (6) days to create?
Why not make it all, instantaneously? You know, after all, He very well could have.
“As My Voice Declares, I speak everything into existence. All water, all land, the light, the darkness, the life, vegetation, man, woman, etc. etc.”
Genesis introduces God’s normal way of working: through a process.
Think about this: Israel was freed from slavery overnight, but required 40 years to reach the promised land.
And This: Christians are born new in an instant, and, in a process that lasts a lifetime, God makes them into what He needs from and for them.
And This: The new heaven and the new earth have been a long time coming, but God is in the process of making all things new.
And This: God is always in the process of something. Just as we are.
Now, realize this!!!!
You are constantly in a process of maturing.
You are in a process of decision making about your future.
You are in a process of physical maturation, as well.
I am in the process of finding out the how’s and why’s of child raising.
I am in the process of figuring out the how’s and why’s of being a husband.
I am in the process of spiritual, and mental maturing, even now.
I am constantly in the process of decision making about my future.
I am also constantly in the process of keeping in God’s perfect Will for my life.
You and I are constantly involved in God’s processes in our lives.
Look at someone and tell them,
‘it’s a process!’
“Watch out, God is up to something!”
Work that begins with a word may take time to complete.
it’s a process!
Work that begins with His Word also takes time to complete.
it’s a process!
God has spoken His life and light into your lives in a unique and specific way, and you are in a process, growing into the shoes of ministry that He has given you.
You and I are given specific gifts and talents for our lives.
The Well has been given specific individuals, who have specific gifts and talents, and anointings for the ministry He intends to do through us.
This church has been given an aromatic blend of specific individuals, inclusive of you and I, and others, that have specific gifts, talents, anointing, specific ministry callings, and specific abilities, in order for us to be exactly what God wants the Carrabelle Church of God to become.
Some are pastors
Some will be Youth Pastors
Some will be Music Ministers
Some will be intercessors
Some will be worshippers
Some will be teachers
Some will be custodians
Some will be drama leaders
Some will be givers
Some will be helpers
Some will be healers
Some will be administrators
Some will be nursery attendants
Some will be ushers
Some will be greeters
Some will be sound technicians
Some will be choir singers
Some will be worship team members
Some will be musicians
But, before you enter into this ministry, you gotta know, that everything you encounter in life is the process!
it’s a process!
it’s a process!
it’s a process!
The tough part is that sometimes this process involves pain.
Growing pain.
These are the tough times when we find ourselves being stretched,
Or having to make tough decisions, decisions on things we don’t want to make decisions about.
Stretching causes the maturing process to move forward.
Similar to a baby that grows from the bottle to the table food.
You just don’t hand a baby a filet Mignon and tell ‘em to go get it boy!
You wean them into soft foods, then more consistancy, into firm foods that they themselves have to cut up to eat.
It’s a process, folks!
What you and I have to do here, and do now, is say God, go ahead and work that process in my life. I am ready, and although I’m not that patient, I am willing to go through this process, because I want what you want.
