VIII. MAIN BODY:
Only GOD can swear, only GOD can make a promise and fulfill it 100%.
A. When GOD made a promise to Abraham
"For when God made [His] promise to Abraham,"
Romans 4:20-21 (Amplified Bible)
4:20 No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God,
4:21 Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised.
GOD's Promises are guaranteed to be fulfilled, the only hindrance to GOD's Promises is if we doubt Him. Like Abraham, we believed GOD's Promises and it's counted as righteousness for us. In our covenant of Grace with GOD - JESUS, our belief is backed up by JESUS, we use JESUS's faith to believe GOD's Promises, so it's not hindered anymore and all answers to GOD's Promises are Amen.
Genesis 15:6 (Amplified Bible)
15:6 And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God).
Romans 3:22 (Amplified Bible)
3:22 Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction,
Romans 5:17 (Amplified Bible)
5:17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
Only GOD is reliable, trustworthy and true to His WORDs.
Hebrews 11:11 (Amplified Bible)
11:11 Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word.
We are established in CHRIST's righteousness not with Abraham's faith.
Isaiah 54:14 (Amplified Bible)
54:14 You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
Our faith is in the finished work of CHRIST that made us righteous.
B. GOD swore by Himself, since no one is greater than GOD
"He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear,"
Hebrews 6:16-18 (Amplified Bible)
6:16 Men indeed swear by a greater [than themselves], and with them in all disputes the oath taken for confirmation is final [ending strife].
6:17 Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath.
6:18 This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us].
Psalms 105:9-10 (Amplified Bible)
105:9 The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His sworn promise to Isaac,
