God's Love Makes Us Victorious - Romans 8:37-39

Rom 8:37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!

Rom 8:38 For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future,

Rom 8:39 neither the world above nor the world below---there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.

I. God's Love Makes Us Victorious In All Things

Excellence is what it makes it happen. In all things we are victorious and God makes us win because of His Great Love for us, in sending His Only Begotten Son to die in our place. The bulk of the work is already done for us, all we need to do is claim what the Lord Jesus Christ have done in our lives and then live for God, serve in all His ways, that is to be ministry involved. While we are here in this earthly tent - our flesly bodies with all it's limitations and sicknesses, all we can do is "occupy" till the Lord comes in all His glories. Make grace to turn us into hard workers in the kingdom of God not lazy people, don't use grace as license to sin, being "lazy" in the Kingdom of God, is already sin, remember? God's grace is enough to make us work hard and to strive to be excellent in all His ways.

Isa 25:8 The Sovereign LORD will destroy death forever! He will wipe away the tears from everyone's eyes and take away the disgrace his people have suffered throughout the world. The LORD himself has spoken.

1Co 15:54 So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: "Death is destroyed; victory is complete!"

2Co 2:14 But thanks be to God! For in union with Christ we are always led by God as prisoners in Christ's victory procession. God uses us to make the knowledge about Christ spread everywhere like a sweet fragrance.

2Co 12:9 But his answer was: "My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak." I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me.

II. Our Victory

Our ultimate or any goal is victory. Think of it, who would join a contest if his/her goal is to lose? We have a contest that needed to be won, and that is the souls of every people we're in touch with. Don't accept failures, don't accept no for an answer, be victorious in all of these things

Revelations 21:7 Those who win the victory will receive this from me: I will be their God, and they will be my children.

Revelations 17:14 They will fight against the Lamb; but the Lamb, together with his called, chosen, and faithful followers, will defeat them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings."

Revelations 12:11 They won the victory over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the truth which they proclaimed; and they were willing to give up their lives and die.

Revelations 11:7 When they finish proclaiming their message, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will fight against them. He will defeat them and kill them,

1Jn 4:4 But you belong to God, my children, and have defeated the false prophets, because the Spirit who is in you is more powerful than the spirit in those who belong to the world.

We can be victorious in all of the following, and these things cannot separate us from God's Love:

1. death

God is already victorious and conquered death thru the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, He did this for us.

2. life

He came to this world for us to have love and have it abundantly.

3. angels

Even angels or fallen angel for this matter can't separate us from God's love, claim it, live it and act like it.

4. heavenly rulers (angels)

Another form of an angel or an angel's rank can't separate us from God's love, he can try as hard but it will all fail.

5. powers

Another angelic or demonic rank.

6. present

This present wealth or lack thereof, can't separate us from God. Love of money? No room for the love of money in a Christian's heart.

7. future

We don't know the future but one thing we know the Lord has given or laid down a good future for us and we know who holds the future.
