God's Holy Spirit is available today by calling on the Lord Jesus for salvation.
After the betrayer left the celebration of the Last Passover Supper, Jesus our Christ taught his disciples about having hope and strength to endure the evil and hatred of our world. This is important because the disciples had experienced the special presence of The Father being with His Son.
The focus of humankind is on the ways of the world. Followers of The Son would experience these others having hostility towards these few. Only because this intimate spiritual knowledge is a different concept.
John 14:25-27(CJB) “I have told you these things while I am still with you. But the Counselor, the Ruach HaKodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything; that is, he will remind you of everything I have said to you. “What I am leaving with you is shalom — I am giving you my shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.
Everything Jesus Christ did with miracles and taught while with the disciples was in unity with the Father. Actually Jesus had taught that he only did what he had witnessed the Father doing.
John 5:19(CJB) Therefore, Yeshua said this to them: “Yes, indeed! I tell you that the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; whatever the Father does, the Son does too.
John 6:38(CJB) For I have come down from heaven to do not my own will but the will of the One who sent me.
This means Jesus only did what he saw our Father do. How else could the Old Testament have so many names of praise for our God? Messianic Psalm 45 describes the Messiah's relationship among the believers. It is here we come to understand the role Jesus Christ played with His being our "Oil of Gladness". The Oil of Gladness that God poured out upon humankind. Jesus had taught about God speaking words that commanded an end of division. Jesus taught about God speaking into action healing, and commands of restoration. The Word of God has compelling action that heals broken hearts, broken relationships.
Let's pause at this point and claim in the name of Jesus Christ, for a display of God's glory. In the name of Jesus we ask the Spirit to guide our unity to be in your ways Father. Disunity and division you are not in the spirit of Jesus Christ be gone, depart. In the name of Jesus Christ depart. Fill us with your will our Lord and God. Jesus saw the Father speak healing. In the name of Jesus Christ; Cancer, Sickness, and Tumors depart. Create a new heart within us Lord.
Jesus only did what he saw our Father do and knowing he would be ascending back to the Father. Jesus prepared His followers to have courage and continue the ministry of the Father and Son to a hurting world.
A very important gift Jesus knows God is doing; is the extending of peace. Instead of sinners being in conflict, at war with the righteous glory of God. God's Plan of Humankind's Redemption and Salvation is exactly knowing Peace with God. Jesus would be arrested, tried, face the death penalty, so His Peace would be left with you, and myself. Humankind what do you offer others as you know life with this divine gift?
Jesus knew the Father's plan was to strengthen His followers with the Holy Spirit's ministry into the head and soul of each true believer. The Father would send the Counselor and he did.
Acts 2:1-4(CJB) The festival of Shavu‘ot arrived, and the believers all gathered together in one place. Suddenly there came a sound from the sky like the roar of a violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire, which separated and came to rest on each one of them. They were all filled with the Ruach HaKodesh and began to talk in different languages, as the Spirit enabled them to speak.
The outpouring of The Holy Spirit occurred during a very important Jewish religious festival after Passover. Shavuot marks the conclusion of a seven-week period known as the counting of the Omer. Leviticus 23:15 commanded the Jewish faithful to to count 49 days after the second Day of Passover. During this time the eye of the Jewish farmer was to watch with anticipation and hope to see their fields filled with ripening grains.
Passover remembers the anticipation and hope the Hebrew slaves had to experience freedom. Would God provide freedom for sinners, even his chosen children? For the followers of Jesus Christ, ten days after his departure, his ascension back to the Father, represents anticipation and hope as we celebrate the birth of God's New Church.
