Psalms 65:2 (KJV) O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

There come times in our life when we suffer loneliness

It overshadows us like a cloud, (Ziggy)

“Loneliness wouldn’t be such a bad thing…if you had somebody to share it with.” - Ziggy

“I’d say thistles, but nobody listens to me, anyway.” – Eeyore

Do you ever feel like Ziggy & Eeyore?

It is so disheartening when no one is there to listen and provide encouragement.

Or sometimes you are experiencing some problem that so personal and intimate

that you are too embarrassed to share it with anyone else.

Ezra 9:6 (KJV) And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.

Are you too ashamed and embarrassed to lift up your face to God because your sins?

You feel you have gotten “over your head” in your situation

So bad is your guilt, that it has reached the heavens!

If that is the way you feel?

Then there is Good News for you!

Romans 5:20 (KJV) Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Where sin in obvious & strongly present in your life,

GRACE is much more prevalent.

God is greater than your issue!

God will listen!

No need is too small,

no place too remote,

no burden is too heavy

He is the “God of all grace”

1 Peter 5:10 (KJV) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

He will make you:

Perfect in His eyes

Establish you firmly

Strengthen you entirely

Settle you perfectly

He is the God of “All Comfort”

2 Corinthians 1:3 (KJV) Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

God wants you to experience His comforting presence!

John 14:16 (KJV) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

God has many ways to comfort you!

• His Word is a comfort

• God Himself is a comfort

• Jesus is a comfort

• And the Holy Spirit is “another Comforter!”

God will hear when you call to Him:

Psalms 4:3 (KJV) But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Young people sometimes complain that their parents won’t listen to them;

Wives may say their husbands don’t listen;

Husbands say that wives don’t “understand”

Your boss seems to ignore you

Your clients don’t care

Your friends misunderstand you

Your classmates don’t “get you”

sometimes it seems that no one will listen to our questions or ideas about anything.

Psalms 145:18 (KJV) The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

God get’s close to them that call upon Him!

Therefore,

Psalms 62:8 (KJV) Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.

“pour out your heart before him”

Let it all out!

Pour out to God!

Lamentations 2:19 (KJV) “Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: ...”

Whether you cry:

• At night

• In the morning

• Afternoon

• Or evening hours

God is Listening, so pour out your heart!

But how? How can He listen to me?

After all, God is far away upon His throne.

In Acts 1:9 we read that Jesus ascended far above all heavens to sit down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

How can the Father hear when we whisper a prayer in our hearts?

How can the Father hear when no human could?

Yes, God is truly in Heaven

but He is also right here!

Jesus said: John 16:7 (KJV) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

You see, this is the beauty of the Trinity!

God can be both in heaven and in our room

He can be both in heaven and in our secret champers

He can be both in heaven and in our loneliest situations

He can be both in heaven and in our moving car

He can be both in heaven and in our church while all are worshiping
