The Distinction - good judgment and knowledge:

The Dedication - for I have believed thy commandments.

2. David's Affirmation of God's Disciplines -

They Are -

Timely - 67 Before I was afflicted,

Necessary - I went astray:

Healthy - but now have I kept thy word.

and God's Doings -

They Are -

Based in His Person - 68 Thou art good,

Backed by His Performance - and doest good;

Bound to His Precepts - teach me thy statutes.

3. David's Affiliation with God's Defences

The Guilty - 69 The proud

The Guile - have forged a lie against me: (To Smear)

The Guide - but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

The Gain - 70 Their heart is as fat as grease;

The Goal - but I delight in thy law.

The Tribute - 71 It is good for me

The Trial - that I have been afflicted;

The Truth - that I might learn thy statutes.

The Triumph - 72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me

The Treasure - than thousands of gold and silver.
