Summary: God's dependability does not change! Psalm 145:13b - "The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does."

GOD IS FAITHFUL

Psalm 145:13b - “The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does.”

When we think of the word, “Faithful”…we probably picture something / someone who is a picture of faithfulness.

Old faithful

I think of my grandparents (McCoy) - married 70+ years…together through thick and thin.

I picture certain individuals who have faithfully served and attending their local church. (Setting up all those years)

Missionaries.

The Family Dog.

Unfaithful: Unpredictable in character, wishy washy, unreliable, etc…

In some countries in the world…electricity is not at all reliable. If you are there…there is no guarantee that the electrical appliance you may be using won’t suddenly stop working. When the electricity is on…you use it…but you certainly don’t count on it.

On the other hand…our neighborhood…if the electricity goes out…we are surprised. Seriously…it’s basically never gone out for more than a couple minutes. If it did go outfor an extended time…we would be annoyed…and inconvenienced because our whole lives are lived utterly dependent upon the power we need being constantly available.

God’s dependability doesn’t change.

1 Corinthians 1:9 - “God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Faithful means: trustworthy; steadfast; unfailing; dependable; reliable; consistent; honest and true.

Simply put: “God is faithful” means “He will not fail you.”

God will be faithful to accomplish His Purposes for your life.

Psalm 57:2,3 - “I cray out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill His purpose for me. He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me. My God will send forth His unfailing love and faithfulness.”

Philippians 1:6 - (I am) confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

God will be faithful to keep His Promises to you.

Hebrews 10:23 - “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”

Psalm 145:13b - “The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does.”

The entire Christian life is based on and lived by faith that God will be faithful to fulfill His promises.

A little advice: When you’re not feeling God’s goodness…go back to thinking about God’s promises.

God will be faithful to Love and never Leave you.

Psalm 100:5 - “The Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Hebrews 13:5 (AMP) - “He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]”

You may be worn out. You may be beat down. You may be discouraged. You may feel like nothing is going right in your life. You may feel like a failure. But I am here to tell you today: Whether you are on the mountain top or in the valley…you can trust God…He is faithful.

God doesn’t decide to be faithful on a whim. The faithfulness of God is part of who He is.

Hebrews 13:8 - “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

God always HAS BEEN faithful.

God always IS faithful.

God always WILL BE faithful.

God always HAS BEEN faithful.

When you look at God’s track-record of faithfulness…one has to wonder why we would ever doubt God.

God always IS faithful.

God is just as faithful to you and me TODAY as He was and has been with anyone you care to mention who has ever walked the face of this earth.

He is no less faithful to you and to me TODAY than He was with Abraham, or Moses, or Joseph, or Noah, or Daniel, or David…

God always WILL BE faithful.

God’s faithfulness never falters…never fails…never wanes! He is trustworthy! He can be counted upon! He is entirely dependable! Fully reliable…100% of the time!

Psalm 130:5 (NLT) - “I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on Him. I have put my hope in His Word.”

GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL!

GOD IS FAITHFUL!

GOD WILL ALWAYS BE FAITHFUL!
