Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
Even when you feel defeated and at your lowest, remember that God is always there to lift you up. Isaiah's words serve as a reminder of God's unwavering support.
GOD HAS YOUR BACK! ISAIAH 59:19-21 (Deuteronomy 20:1-4)
I have a message for those of you who have faced trouble, problems, and difficult circumstances. This message applies to everyone, regardless of their faith. Don't think that being Saved, Sanctified, and Filled with the Holy Ghost exempts you from trouble. Even Job said, "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble (Job 14:1)." But the good news is that when trouble comes, God has our back!
When the enemy comes against us like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will raise a standard against him. This means that God has authorized the Spirit to support us in times of weakness. The Spirit is our Comforter and will help us when we face challenges (Romans 8:26).
In addition to the Spirit's support, God has reinforced us with the Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to redeem us from sin and the enemy's grasp. He paid the price for our redemption at Calvary. We can find strength in knowing that Jesus is our Redeemer and He stands in our place.
Lastly, God has covered us in His covenant. He has made a new covenant with us through Jesus Christ. This covenant assures us that God is with us and will be our refuge and fortress. We can trust in His goodness, strength, and the blood of Jesus to save us from wrath.
No matter what we go through, whether it's family troubles or friends abandoning us, we can find comfort in knowing that God has our back. Even when storms rage in our lives, our souls can be anchored in the Lord. Our hope is built on Him, and He will lead us to the blessed place He has prepared.
Remember, God has your back!
