God Himself created man in His own image and likeness - Genesis 2:7. We belong to God and we are His children that He loves so much - John 3:16. God in His love and in His infinite mercy could not give us anything less than to give us His breath. In giving us his breath He expects nothing less of Him in us his children.

When I saw this in the scripture it made me to begin to wonder and I am still in the process of meditating on this truth. Remember that the word of God says that the truth we know will set us free - John 8:32. And I really want to be free from the lies of the Devil.

God who created us in His own image and likeness, would want the best for us all and since we are in His image and likeness we really should be bearing the same fruit as God Himself. From the beginning when He created Adam by giving him His breath, His wisdom was in Adam and Adam gave names to all the animals and birds in the garden of Eden.

Genesis 2: 18 - 20

And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to [a]Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

The Spirit of God in Adam gave him the power to name all the animals and all the birds of the air and this is what the breath of God did in the life of man named Adam. Everything that is in God was also in Adam and this is what as been passing on from generation to generation, and this will definitely continue till Jesus comes back again to reign here on earth.

Therefore, if this is the case, why is man not living as God wants us to live and to be like Him? this is a question that I am asking and not only for me but for every man born of God. God has done it all for us all and I choose to believe that God is expecting us to live as He is living and to be a creator for His Kingdom purpose. It's all about the kingdom at the end of it all.

When God created us and gave us His breath, we became a living being and God said to us in Genesis 1:26 - 31

Genesis 1 : 26 - 31

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that [b]moves on the earth.”

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

There are two keys words in this passage that God gave to man.
