GOD GAVE JESUS SEVEN GIFTS AS HIS SON
As we know Jesus was Gods only son so there was nothing less than the very best.
He was willing to come and redeem man with his on life. Something no one else could
Do all God tried with man had failed because of sin.
1. His position ---- all power and authority on earth.
Matt.11: 26Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
2. His mission---- a work that only he could do.
John 17: 4I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
John1: 7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
3. His mission------To take men out of the world
John 17: 6I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
John 6: 37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
4. Whatsoever things ---was his endowments
John 3: 34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
5.His message ---Bible understanding given to him in sayings and words.
John 17: 7Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
John3: 35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
6.His reward--- glory of redemption
John17: 22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
2nd Thess.1: 10When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
7. His pre-eminence--- his creatorship.
John17: 24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Col.1: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
