To show that GOD is our Encourager and that man is not to be afraid of because man is a temporal being and GOD is Unchangeable.

Isaiah 51:12 (Amplified Bible)

51:12 I, even I, am He Who comforts you. Who are you, that you should be afraid of man, who shall die, and of a son of man, who shall be made [as destructible] as grass,

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are my Comforter and the comforts that I received comforting me with Your very Presence.

"I, even I, am He Who comforts you."

Comfort is "nacham" in Hebrew meaning:

1. breathe strongly

2. to be sorry

3. to pity

4. to avenge (oneself)

Isaiah 57:15-18 (Amplified Bible)

57:15 For thus says the high and lofty One—He Who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, but with him also who is of a thoroughly penitent and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the thoroughly penitent [bruised with sorrow for sin].

57:16 For I will not contend forever, neither will I be angry always, for [if I did stay angry] the spirit [of man] would faint and be consumed before Me, and [My purpose in] creating the souls of men would be frustrated.

57:17 Because of the iniquity of his [Judah’s] covetousness and unjust gain I was angry and smote him. I hid my face and was angry, and he went on turning away and backsliding in the way of his [own willful] heart.

Our LORD is our Comforter as Paul have said

1:4 Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God.

B. Man is not to be afraid of, who shall be dried up and die like grass
