Summary: In facing challenges of life, we become secure and strong once we know there will be people who will support us to go though with us in tough times. God wants to be with us and more than that He wants to lead us into victory with every tough situation tha
We all need someone to stand with us especially in situations that are challenging and difficult to handle. We need assurance that in everything we do there will be people who will support us and motivate us no matter what happens. The need for a companion makes us confident because it gives us an assurance that we are not alone in facing issues in life. God wants to be involve in our lives. He desires to stand with us in every situation no matter what happens. However, He wants to take the lead if we want Him to take part in our lives. Are you willing to let Him lead you? Are you willing to trust Him by obeying Him in things He wants you to do?
What it means to live in the presence of God. . .
Jehovah-Shammah means God who is There or God who is Near. (Ezekiel 48:35)
Walking in the Presence of God is a confident assurance & sense of certainty that God is with you.. It means you: 1. Walking in His favor 2. Walking in His direction 3. Walking in His promises 4. Walking in His provision 5. Walking in His power 6. Walking in His comfort & protection.
Why we cant afford not to have God with us . . .
Confidence to live in every situation (Psalms 23:4); Freedom from sin, shame, uncontrollable destructive behaviors, fear (John 8:36; Mark 2:22-26); Comfort and real rest even in times of trouble (Matthew 11:28); Fruitfulness & abundance (John 10:10; John 15:5); Impact on people’s lives (Matthew 5:13-15).
Why God can’t afford to leave you alone..
Isaiah 43: 1 But now the Lord who created you, O Israel, says: Don’t be afraid, for I have ransomed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.2 When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up-the flames will not consume you.
If Jesus is in us then God is delightfully with us therefore Let us.
