Go! And Live In Freedom Series
Contributed by Dean Courtier on Jul 4, 2025 (message contributor)
Summary: Hear the powerful call of God: Go! And Live in Freedom—a glorious truth—one that ignites hope, delivers joy, and secures our eternal destiny
Charles Stanley: “True freedom is found only in the presence of God, where there is fullness of joy and eternal hope.”
If your hope is in your bank account, it can fade. If your hope is in your health, it can change. But if your hope is in the Lord, it is eternal and unshakable.
Point 4: Go! And Live Where the Spirit Reigns
2 Corinthians 3:17 (NLT): “Wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
Paul is speaking of the new covenant—a relationship not bound by tablets of stone but written on the heart. The veil has been removed. The glory of God is now experienced by all who belong to Christ.
This freedom is not mystical or abstract. It’s freedom from spiritual blindness, from sin’s chains, from fear of death. It’s freedom to worship, serve, obey, and become like Christ.
Supporting Scripture:
John 8:36 (NLT): “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT): “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
Tim Keller: “The Gospel is not just the ABCs of Christianity, but the A to Z. We are not only saved by the Gospel, we are transformed by it every day.”
This is why the Spirit gives freedom—freedom to be continually changed by grace, shaped into the image of the Son.
Gospel Presentation:
Let me speak to your heart plainly and clearly.
Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. He lived a perfect, sinless life. He died on the cross in your place. He took the penalty of sin—death and condemnation—upon Himself. He was buried, and on the third day, He rose again, victorious over sin and death.
If you will repent of your sin—turn from it—and place your trust in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, you will be saved. That’s not my promise. That’s God’s.
Invitation to Salvation:
Friend, are you tired of the chains?
Are you ready to be free?
Come to Jesus. He’s not waiting with a list of rules—He’s waiting with open arms.
Say yes to Him. Confess your need. Believe in your heart. Receive Him as Saviour and Lord.
Call to Action:
Believer: Stop living like a prisoner when Christ has set you free.
Stop letting condemnation whisper lies when God has declared you righteous.
Let the Spirit lead you into joyful obedience, passionate worship, and unwavering hope.
Go! And live in the freedom Jesus bought for you. Walk in that freedom. Share that freedom. Live with purpose. Live with power. Live for His glory.
Benediction:
Now, may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,
equip you with everything good for doing His will,
and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ,
to whom be glory for ever and ever.
Amen.
May this message stir hearts to love Jesus more deeply, to live in the Spirit more freely, and to proclaim the Gospel more boldly.
Go! And Live in Freedom.
