Summary: Learning to stand through spiritual warfare

“Get Ready to Rumble”

I can remember many years ago watching the movie, “A Rebel Without A Cause”, and also have read David Wilkerson’s book, “The Cross and the Switchblade.” In those days, and even more so now, gang activity was rampant. There were always gangs who fought each other, taking sides to rule their turf; many have lost their lives fighting for their rights. The same thing is happening in our world today, but I want us to look from the spiritual side to see the war that exists between good and evil, darkness and light. The evil has confidence that they will rule and destroy the light, but be it known, our God reigns and we win!

We are living in perilous times, times the scripture has warned us about, but for the Body of Christ, the remnant, these are exciting times as we stand before a harvest field, ready for reaping. Yet, I see a separating from those who are hot after the things of God and those who are lukewarm or cold, content sitting down and watching the world go by, glued to the pew each week at their place of worship, taking in, but never giving out. I feel God is calling together His elect bride and saying, “Choose whose side you are on.” And get ready to defend the faith and take the land! The battle is the Lord’s and the victory is ours for taking what the enemy has stolen from us.

Just as we would not allow a robber or thief to come into our homes and cart out our personal items, we need to block and stop the enemy from stealing and robbing from us. We know that his ultimate desire is to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10)

Captive Hearts has been under persecution for standing up for what is right, and not compromising the message of hope for a fallen world. We have literally been experiencing revival in our extensions of outreach. Women are being set free, grasping the Word and walking in it. Then why the persecution? Hell knows our name and is out to get us, YET, we are confident of this one thing; “Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.” When we see lives changing, old things passing away and individuals becoming clean and sober and walking a new life, it causes a shaking in the enemy’s camp and we become a threat to his kingdom.

Normally I would be upset with words being spoken against us, but it gives me all the more insight to know what is happening in the spirit realm. Men and women being set free from drugs, alcohol and addictions, sin being broken over their lives and a fresh anointing being poured out in the darkest of places. Revival is breaking out and the enemy is loosing!

I challenge you today, to wake up, gear up, shake off the old, put on your armor (Ephesians 6), plant your feet solid, join in battle today for the truth. It’s a life and death situation. Men and women are dying and going to Hell. It is up to those of us who are called to “Get Ready to Rumble”. The last day revival is here before us…”Chose you this day, whom you will serve.” Joshua 24:15(a) and begin to rejoice for the battle is the Lords, let us go in and possess the land. WE WIN!
