WEARE TOLD that "Nature abhors a vacuum."

Aristotle (ancient Greek philosopher and scientist, 384-322BC) first suggested that "nature abhors a vacuum" to explain why water pumps worked

Apparent-. therefore, the opposite condition, namely, the state of being full, or fullness, is one of the necessities of life.

But full of what? There are right types of fullness and there are wrong types

- It is right to be filled with some things, but not with others.

A Right Fullness Most important "fullness" for believer is with —

The Spirit of God (cf. 2:4;

• Wonder (3:10);

• Understanding (5:28); -

• Wisdom (6:3); :

A Wrong Fullness

This is sadly possible and may take form of —

• Lying (5:3) ;

• Indignation (5:17);

• Subtlety and Mischief (13:10) ;

10 (Of Elymas) And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

• Confusion (19:29)
