Summary: Jubilee is the perfect will of God for those who are in Christ Jesus, in Him there is liberty , restoration, peace and rest
FOUR KEYS TO ACHIEVING JUBILEE
TEXT – LEVITICUS 25:10-12
INTRODUCTION
We have been studying on foundation keys to achieving jubilee and today we shall summarize all these keys and apply them to our Christian walk with God
a) THE PLACE OF SERVICE – 1PETER 4:10, MARK 10:45
Service cannot be overemphasized in the kingdom assignment given to Christians. To be born again means to be born into a holy service unto the Lord – Galatians 5:13. Service makes us relevant and gives us worthy position in God – John 12:26. What does it mean to serve money? –Matthew 6:24. Every service has reward – Hebrew 6:10. What kind of service can deny us eternal rewards? Discuss.
b) THE PLACE OF GIVING – HEBREWS 13:16, LUKE 21:1-4
Giving should be seen as an opportunity to invest and prosper – Matthew 6:19-21 but unfortunately some people frown at such opportunities. To be blessed the more, give the more –Acts 20:35. What can we give? True repentance and heaven consciousness can be seen in our giving – Luke 19:8, 1 Timothy 6:17-19. Can our giving bring curse or trouble to us? Discuss.
c) THE PLACE OF OBEDIENCE –DEUTERONOMY 28:1, LUKE 11:28
As we often say that to obey is better than sacrifice but obedience is hard labor without submission to God which gives us the power to resist the devil – James 4:7, Luke 9:23. What to do when obedience to God may cause a “loss”? – Mark 8:36. The best preachers are the doers – James 1:22. Obedience to God maybe difficult but let’s be inspired by the rewards – 1 Corinthians 15:58.
d) THE PLACE OF LOVE – 2 JOHN 1:6, ROMANS 13:8
We are to do everything in love – 1 Corinthians 16:14. Love remains the greatest – 1 Corinthians 13:13 because no spiritual activities and manifestation receive divine recognition except they are done in Love -1 Corinthians 13:1-3, Colossians 3:14. Is the command in John 15:12 possible? Explain. The expression of godly love is the manifestation of God to men – 1 John 4:12. What does it mean to love our enemies? – Matthew 5:44. Love has reward – 1 Corinthians 2:9.
CONCLUSION
Why Jubilee? Jubilee is the perfect will of God for those who are in Christ Jesus, in Him there is liberty , restoration, peace and rest – Leviticus 25:10-12, John 14:27, Matthew 11:28, Hebrews 4:1
