For This Reason, He Was Born

John 11:49-53King James Version (KJV)

49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

Beloved, when the Pharisees were planning to kill Jesus, they didn't know they were planning towards the fulfilment of God's plan.

When the devil was polluting the Pharisees and using them to device wicked plans to destroy the Son of God, the devil didn't know he was working tirelessly towards the fulfilment of God's plan.

Jesus, the Son of God knew His purpose on earth and knew what was about to befall Him. Men saw what was about to happen as bad, evil and wicked. Those who loved Him then would have done anything within their power to prevent it from happening.

It looked and sounded very wrong but it was the plan of God and it was the manifestation of His glory and the fulfilment of His Word.

Beloved you were also born for a reason, many things will have to happen towards the fulfilment of the Word of God in your life. All are good but man may judge them as good and or bad.

The truth is, whether good or bad they all work together for your good; for the manifestation of the glory of God in your life that the world would see and praise Him who is your Father and is in heaven.

In this Christmas season, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, let us keep focus on the reason for the birth of Jesus and that should be a guide for us to focus on the reason for our birth, which is a subset of Jesus' own.

Beloved we are connected to Jesus in all things and in all ways that's why through out our life, we should exhibit to all others that *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else.

Prayer: Father please keep me focussed on the reason why Jesus was born and the reason why I was also born that your Word in my life shall be fulfilled in Jesus name. Amen.
