Flavor and favor cannot be hidden!

Ruth 2:12 "May the LORD reward your work, and your wages be full from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge."

As I was traveling in the car from the airport in a different city, God started speaking very clearly to me, with my mask on, I was able to hide my emotions and listen to him sharply as He was bringing back incidents to my memory and slowly with illustrations, He was doing a beautiful presentation right there in the midst of traffic. The tile of this sermon was also given by God, you can chose to believe it or leave it…..” Flavor and favor cannot be hidden!”

In the year 1990, when I was working for one of the Sheraton group of hotels, one particular afternoon, it was lunch as usual in one of the restaurant, we were getting things ready, I was working in the administration office of the food and beverage department. The receptionist of that restaurant was a simple girl with normal looks who was on duty that day. We did not know that the British Airways staff were visiting the hotel that day for lunch; however, the receptionist was patient with a big smile on her face and served them excellently. Without her knowledge the ‘staff of British Airways’ were observing and admiring her work skills, they took her phone number before they left, the next day she received a call for interview and got selected for the post of ‘Air-hostess’ for one of the biggest Airlines, her life changed upside down after that, she was traveling around the globe. Your everyday activities are observed by God too, remember that! The time you wake up, the time you go to sleep, the endless chatting, browsing and calls are also observed by the Lord, you receive what you sow. I speak to you towards the end of this year and ask you ,’how much of the Bible have you read this year, how much have you fasted and prayed?’

RUTH

When Ruth left Moab, her folks, friends, home town and entered Bethlehem, two eyes of God were watching her from above, you are not alone , remember that. God watched her faithfulness, holiness, her hard work, her determination, her tenacity, her loyalty towards her mom-in-law and the news travelled to the right ears, Boaz said: "All that you have done for your mother-in-law after the death of your husband has been fully reported to me,”(Ruth 2:11) Testimony about you will reach the right person and you find favor! Clap hands for God! Finally Ruth became the OWNER and WIFE of the field that she worked for. God is not going to bless a lazy couch potato, He is looking for hard workers. When God starts showering His blessings, you cannot hide yourself, you will be like a city on a hill, shining bright!

20 The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.

21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, And have not wickedly departed from my God.

22 For all His ordinances were before me, And I did not put away His statutes from me.

23 I was also blameless with Him, And I kept myself from my iniquity.

24 Therefore the LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.

Every bit of our life, our business, our ministry are monitored by the Lord and He would reward you abundantly, stay faithful and patient.
