They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion. Which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous.
This week's message is titled "Deliverance from the Rod of the Wicked." The Scripture passage for today is Psalm 125:1-3, which says, "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous." This verse assures us that those who trust in the Lord will be protected from the wicked and their influence. Let us pray for deliverance from the rod of the wicked in our lives.
1. The Rod of the Wicked:
The rod of the wicked comes in various forms and targets different areas of our lives. It symbolizes the authority of the enemy to bring harm and punishment. It can affect our destiny, marriages, vision, business, and even our physical well-being. The wicked use this rod to promote scarcity, direct us away from God's path, cause frustration and hardship, and create emotional turmoil and sluggishness.
2. When the Rod is Laid:
The enemies lay their rods when our star is shining, when we are doing well, when we are experiencing the power of God, and when we stand for righteousness. They want to hinder our progress, promote bitterness, worldly wisdom, and pride, and discourage us from seeking God's presence through prayer and fasting.
3. Steps to Deliverance:
To receive deliverance from the rod of the wicked, we must take certain steps:
- Acknowledge that only God can deliver us.
- Examine ourselves and ensure we are born again.
- Walk in obedience to God's commands.
- Guard against pride in our hearts.
- Call upon the Lord for deliverance.
Let us now pray, using the following points:
1. Pray for God to defeat and destroy the enemies of our progress.
2. Ask God to visit our enemies in a way that they will never forget His anger.
3. Pray for the destruction of every wicked rod in our families.
4. Command the wicked authority holding us back to be paralyzed by fire.
5. Pray for protection from the influence of the wicked over our minds and thoughts.
6. Plead the blood of Jesus to deliver our minds from the authority of the wicked.
7. Declare the termination of the wicked rod's influence in our marriages.
8. Command the opposition to our open heaven to be consumed by fire.
9. Release our reproductive systems from the authority of the wicked.
10. Pray for an acceleration of God's glory in our lives.
In conclusion, we must trust in the Lord and seek deliverance from the rod of the wicked. By following the steps outlined and praying fervently, we can experience freedom from the influence and harm caused by the wicked. Let us rely on God's power and protection as we walk in obedience and faith. May God grant us deliverance and accelerate His glory in our lives. Amen.
