I. AUDIENCE PROFILE:

My fellow leaders and workers/ my teacher: Kuya Ranel Reyes

II. OBJECTIVES:

To extract good leadership from the false ones

III. TEXT:

ISAIAH 56:10-12 (Magandang Balita Biblia - TPV - Tagalog Popular Version)

P-R-A-Y-E-R:

Pray

1. that we can learn the difference of false leadership to good leadership,

2. that we can learn good ldership by avoiding false leadership

3. that we can be good followers/servants to become good leaders.

IV. THESIS:

DIFFERENTIATE FALSE LEADERS FROM A LEADER.

V. TITLE:

FALSE LEADERS OF ISRAEL

VI. EXORDIUM

ALTAR CALL FOR FALSE LEADERS, PLS COME TO THE FRONT!

WHO ARE FALSE LEADERS/PROPHETS/TEACHERS HERE? PLS. RAISE YOUR HAND!

IT'S A TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE THING TO BE A FALSE LEADER.

ASK FOR P500 BILL FROM THEM, OR P1000 BILL.

P500 bills, to know the fake from the genuine P500 bill, master the security features of the P500 bill, then you will know what's fake.

Unlike here, we have to know the false leaders by knowing them to differentiate them from LEADERS.

Isaiah 56:10

His watchmen are blind - Kimchi observes, “The flock is intrusted to the care of these watchmen. The wild beasts come; these dogs bark not; and the wild beasts devour the flock. Thus they do not profit the flock. Yea, they injure it; for the owner trusts in them, that they will watch and be faithful; but they are not. These are the false teachers and careless shepherds.”

dogs = sheep dogs, that watch, bark and bite when stealers will steal the sheep.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

Characteristics of False Leaders of Israel:

1. They're blind leaders that supposed to be reminding people.

"10 Ang sabi niya, "Bulag ang mga pinuno na dapat magpaalala sa mga tao."

Leader = Watchman (KJV) = tsaphah (tsaw-faw') (HEBREW) -

a. (properly) to lean forward, i.e. to peer into the distance

b. (by implication) to observe, await

c. [a primitive root] KJV: behold, espy, look up (well), wait for, (keep the) watch(-man).

Watchmen = Pastors, Teachers, Lay Leaders/Workers, Bible Study Leaders

Matthew 15:14

Stay away from the Pharisees. They lead the people, but they are like blind men leading other blind men. And if a blind man leads another blind man, both of them will fall into a ditch." (ERV)

A LEADER - is a good watchman, you see from afar, you have vision not ambition, you remind the members via chikka/sms/txt, don't get tired of doing this regularly. You invite people and when they reject, you invite them again.

APPLICATION: Mag attend ng Dawn Watch

ILLUSTRATION:

Magtataho

2. They don't know anything.

"Wala silang nalalaman."

Hos 4:6 "My people are destroyed because they have no knowledge. You priests have refused to learn, so I will refuse to let you be priests for me. You have forgotten the law of your God, so I will forget your children. (ERV)

If you don't want the LORD to not forget your children, then don't forget to read and have devotions everyday.
