Summary: Faithfulness to God will get us access into God’s heavenly blessings

“ Faithfulness: The Key To Unlocking God’s Door ”

Hebrews 11:1-6

“Now what is faith to each one of us, and what does it make us do? One of our church members offered that it is our hope that we are going to Heaven”, (by the way we are living). Another member offer that faith is “living right”. Living right is the proof in our lives that we have this hope. For this hope makes us live righteously day-by-day. Then one other member suggested that our faith is the evidence that we are God’s, and “that we see God for real, and we know that we are on our way to heaven, even though we have not see the physical evidence” like the disciples of Christ witnessed Jesus on earth. Our faith in Jesus Christ proves that there is a God, and heaven, and Christ and eternal Life, and eternal hell, and we know and believe that these are for real through the Word of God which we read and study.

The Faithful Church in Colossians 1:1-10 & Hebrews 1:4-40 shows us many attributes that we need in order to have access into God’s heavenly kingdom. The list of Faithful persons in the Word of God is endless, and some of these we can see in Hebrews 1:4-40. God is yet building up the faithful in our generation as he did in the book of Acts, and many a saint today are evident of this.

The manner in which today’s church members live for God determines if we as church members are faithful, and whether or not the members have access into the Kingdom of God during our Christian walk. See Colossians 1: 4-10. We find the following attributes of faithful members of the church: Faith, Love, Hope, Truth, Pray, Knowledge,Longsuffering,Wisdom,Understanding,Walk, Work,Increase,Strength,Patience,Joyfulness.

Here are some of our keys to unlocking God’s door

The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:6-14: (v.11)… that the just shall live by faith. Then St. Matthew 16:16-19, adds that Jesus gives us Keys to the kingdom. These are our symbols of authority: Power over Satan, faithfulness to His service, resisting temptation, love one another, building up yourselves on your most holy faith. Galatians 5:16-26, tells us that the manifestations of the flesh and the Spirit verify in us the results of faithful living. As living examples, our Faithfulness to God gets us in a position to open the Door of God’s Kingdom. Where we can live Victorious in this life, and until he returns to take his Church back with him. In Romans 5:1-2 & James: 2:14-26 Paul says we are justified by faith, and we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. And we now have access into His grace, and we are now standing, by our faith, in his grace. So we can now rejoice in the hope of the Glory of God. Now this is personal, and this means we now have peace with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And now we can stand by our faith, in his grace, and our hope is in the finished work on Calvary. I could not have done anything good enough to obtain his mercy and grace, or salvation on my own, but I believe that Christ did die, and he died for my sins, and now I have faith, …I believe, I can have eternal life though my faith in Him. So, my hope is in Christ’s return, return for me…and now I am living daily as an example of this hope in Him, and one day I will see him in glory.
