Good morning, family. We're diving into the book of Acts today, specifically, Acts 1:8. It says, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Isn't that powerful? God doesn't just expect us to live a righteous and faithful life - He equips us to do so with His Holy Spirit! He isn't just a distant deity, He dwells in us, empowers us, and works through us. This is a powerful truth that we should always remember.
Let's open with a prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, for the strength, courage, and wisdom it provides us daily. As we delve into Your word today, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that we may have a deeper understanding and appreciation of Your presence within us.
