EMBRACING THE HEART OF JESUS

Luke 14:1-14

Introduction:

As we step into this new season, it’s a wonderful time to reflect on the significance of starting anew with Jesus- Renewing our hearts, our minds, and our purpose in Him. The start of a New Year offers us a unique chance to realign ourselves with His divine plan and to seek His guidance as we navigate the days ahead. It’s an invitation to embrace the hope, grace, and new beginnings that only Jesus can provide, trusting that with Him, every day is an opportunity for growth and transformation.

In our text, we see Jesus calling us to a life characterized by humility, compassion, and genuine service. As the Son of Man, He models a way of living that turns worldly values upside down- Showing us that true greatness is found in serving others and putting their needs above our own. In doing so, we become living witnesses of His Kingdom, shining His light through acts of genuine kindness and selfless service.
