Don’t Allow Discouragement From Ministry Kill You

MINISTRY CAN KILL YOU IF YOU AREN’T CAREFUL…you can love something so much AND love folk so much that when disappointment and discouragement gets into our mind that it will destroy or even kill you or the vision that God has given you…

I want to tell you that you don’t have to die for a church that Jesus has already died for…you don’t have to sacrifice your peace, your health, your sanity from the stress of making sure that others are cared for but you lack what you need…today the baggage im gonna talk about is self care…your peace-your happiness matters

Jesus already died to build the church…we must learn how to slow down and prioritize our assignments…we need to learn like Jesus to fall asleep on the back of the boat…People are never satisfied and no matter we do for others it seems like it will never be enough…

In the moment of guilt – Did I do That?

He meant well- he wanted to help- he wanted Laura to love him but in doing so the way he would go about doing things made some things worse…

Some stuff does need to change- I believe we do need to have the ability to breathe salvation into the generation but not at the expense of losing the anointing of Gods word---some stuff we threw away we actually need---

Some things will never get old---don’t risk your life trying to keep up with other ministries---if God tell you to do something then 400yrs later we need to do what God says do

Stop comparing----have you heard what they do?

Yep I heard and I am happy for them but I don’t have to be like them

The best ministry is not on the line but it’s in between the lines…our strength get weak at times…we can’t do it all by our self all in one day…when God send you help let them help…

What we need to learn to do is be obedient to what God has instructed us to do…naaaaaaaaaw we want to be seen and for it to be said that we did it all…

The bible states that Tabitha is a disciple—a believer. She was full of good works and acts of mercy. It happened in those days that she fell sick, and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room. The tone of their request is urgent. They EXPECTED Peter to work a miracle. So Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Tabitha had made while she was with them”. “Peter put them all out, and kneeled down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up”

Let’s not be so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good…trying to out shine the next person or next church…taken on everything you see or hear about but not really finishing any of it…Jack of all trades but a master of none…if you aren’t careful as great as ministry is it will take you out of here…

Tabitha is an example of dying doing a good thing…listen we must learn how to take a break and take a vacation---we have become so wrapped up in being busy that we think that the church can’t function without you…

SO PETER SENDS THEM OUT OF THE ROOM. HE NEEDED TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE NEW. ---OLD MINDSETS CANNOT RECEIVE NEW MIRACLES. THE STRUGGLE COMES WHEN WE ARE TRYING TO PROTECT SOMETHING AT THE SAME TIME WE ARE TRYING TO ACCEPT. MAKING ROOM FOR THE NEW IS NOT EASY WHEN OUR MIND IS MORE CROWDED THAN OUR CLOSET AT HOME. I WILL ADMIT THAT I FOUND OUT THE MOST CROWDED PLACE WAS ACTUALLY WITHIN ME. SO I HAD TO LOOK WITHIN ME INSTEAD OF BEING SO QUICK TO POINT THE BLAME AT SOMEONE ELSE OR SOMETHING ELSE. LISTEN THE THING THAT MAY BE BLOCKING YOU FROM RECEIVING YOUR MIRACLE FROM GOD IS UNBELIEF.

SO I AM HERE TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO BE BOLD & TELL ALL UNBELIEF TO GET OUT OF YOUR LIFE BECAUSE GOD WANTS TO MAKE ROOM WITHIN US.

And PETER TURNED to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. (v. 41) He gave her his hand, and raised her up. Calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive” Peter 1st worked the miracle and then called the witnesses into the room to see that Tabitha was alive.

HOW CAN YOU ASK GOD TO SEND YOU LOVE WHEN YOUR HEART IS FULL OF BITTERNESS? CHANGE OUR MIND. POSITION YOURSELF FOR A MIRACLE. It does not mean the problem will get smaller. TELL YOURSELF----IT IS UP TO ME TO MAKE ROOM.
