FALLING AT JESUS’ FEET! vs DON’T BOTHER JESUS?

ONE CANDLE CAN LIGHT 1,000… MY PASSION, ENTHUSIASM, EXCITEMENT, ZEAL COULD BE CONTAGIOUS AND I COULD IGNITE MANY FOR THE CROSS… My apathy, laziness, not caring can hurt many in my family and friends. DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR LIFE THAT OTHERS CAN SEE?

DON’T BOTHER JESUS?

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

TWO WORDS DEMONSTRATE TWO OPPOSING ATTITUDES: CAN GOD vs GOD CAN… IS IT OVER OR IS IT JUST STARTING?

Mark 5:35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?

"Your daughter is dead. Why bother the Teacher any more?" Am I really sure about this? Is God really in control? Does God have my back? Do I trust God with the small details in my family and my church? Does God care?

DON’T GET IN THE WAY OF MY MIRACLE! JESUS WE NEED YOU NOW! NOW! MAYBE THIS DIVERSION, THIS DIVINE DELAY WILL HINDER MY MIRACLE… THE LEADER, THE IMPORTANT MAN DOES SOMETHING HE HAS NEVER DONE… HE FALLS AT JESUS’ FEET.

There was a large crowd gathered around Jesus. Jairus was a who who! He was a leader. Now is Jesus’ chance to show his stuff… Jairus is not some common man. Jairus is a leader in the synagogue. Jairus makes a desperate appeal to Jesus. JESUS MY DAUGHTER IS DYING… Jesus we have no hope BUT YOU… JESUS WE TRUST YOU CAN HANDLE MY PRECIOUS LITTLE DAUGHTER… We have no hope… We have tried everything we know to do… WE NEED YOU TO COME TO OUR HOUSE NOW! JAIRUS FELL AT JESUS’ FEET!

FAITH MOVES THE HEART OF JESUS… JAIRUS WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH FAITH… HAVE WE CLOSED THE DOORS TO GOD’S OPPORTUNITIES? JESUS I AM BEGGING YOU…

Mark 5:22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, 23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

JAIRUS’ PLANS ARE CLEAR… JESUS MUST COME IMMEDIATELY… NOW, CAN’T YOU SEE MY DAUGHTER IS DYING? Some sick lady got in my way… Jesus was on the way to deliver my miracle and heal my daughter… BUT NOW WHAT… There is a lady that was so weak and sick. She spent all her money on the doctors and medicine NOW SHE GETS IN MY WAY.

SEEMS I HAVE BEEN SIDETRACKED FROM MY MIRACLE… I THOUGHT I HAD AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A MIRACLE FOR MY DAUGHTER… I BEG YOU JESUS… I NEED YOU NOW…

Mark 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

Let’s be real honest this lady has been sick for 12 years. She becomes a hindrance to Jairus’ miracle. THIS LADY WILL OPEN THE DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY to God’s power and glory. THE LADY BELIEVED… WILL WE BELIEVE THIS MESS IS NOT A HINDRANCE TO GOD’S MOVE? THIS MESS IS THE OPPORTUNITY ORDAINED BY GOD… HAVE WE LOST OUR FAITH BECAUSE OF A HINDERANCE?

I HAD FAITH UNTIL I SAW THE DOOR FOR MY MIRACLE CLOSE… MY DREAM OF HEALING IS GONE WITH THE BAD NEWS?

WHAT DO WE DO WHEN SOMEONE POPS OUR BUBBLE OF HOPE? FEAR? WORRY? STRESS? --- THERE WILL ALWAYS BE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LOSE HOPE --- NOW WHAT? FEAR IS RELEASED!

WHOSE REPORT WILL YOU ACCEPT? BAD NEWS? WAIT I HAVE GOOD NEWS, THE BAD NEWS IS NOT THE TRUTH…

Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

DON’T BOTHER THE MASTER? MY FRIEND THIS MIRACLE IS IN YOUR HANDS… BE NOT AFRAID… FEAR WILL KILL YOUR MIRACLE… ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO BELIEVE … WE ARE NOT BOTHERING THE SON OF GOD… WE HAVE OPENED THE DOOR TO THE OPPORTUNITY OF RELEASING THE MIRACLE GOD HAS PLANNED FOR YOU.

Mark 5:42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
