Do You Not Realize?

Do you not realize?

Exodus 10:7”……….Do you not realize that Egypt is destroyed?"

The above statement is made by the servants of Pharaoh to none other than Pharaoh himself because by now the loss, agony, pain and destruction in Egypt was huge , therefore out of desperation they plead, ‘do you not realize that Egypt is ruined by now?’ This statement comes out after the seventh plague ‘hail’, read:

Exodus 9:25” The hail struck all that was in the field through all the land of Egypt, both man and beast; the hail also struck every plant of the field and shattered every tree of the field.”

Today, after so much of loss, pain, angst and utter mayhem around the world because of this deadly virus ‘ CORONA’, the question before each one of us is “do you not realize that the world is getting destroyed?” Remember this, ‘it is time for corporate repentance’! Time for self examination and prayer, are you listening?

Despite the Government orders in our State, that huge gatherings should be avoided, function halls should be closed and many other such orders; however, we find birthday parties and marriages being conducted as usual. Unless it hits their ‘roof’ people would run around recklessly as it happened during Noah days. Jesus said: Mathew 7:26 "Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 "The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell--and great was its fall." Yes, great would be fall if we fail to obey the Word of God.

Look around the world or read the newspapers, we would feel, ‘what hope is left now?’ but I have good news for you, the Lord said, “My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”(2 Chronicles 7:14) Time to pray!
