Diving into New Adventures

Remember the high board at the swimming pool up town? After days of looking up at it you finally climbed the wet steps to the platform. From there, it was higher than ever. There were only two ways down: the steps to defeat of the dive to victory. You stood on the edge, shivering in the hot sun, deathly afraid. At last you leaned too far forward, it was too late for retreat, and you dived. The high board was conquered, and you spent the rest of the day diving.

John 4:13-14NASB Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

Your way throughout life can become seemingly too hard and of course it can lose its meaning- empty and void can become the norm. Going through the same ole motions, while getting by. If this sounds familiar, for many maybe it’s reality.

The merry-go-round of life will always offer yesterday’s loses, regrets, concerns, un-forgiveness and before ‘one’ realizes, all surroundings become the same ole, same ole.

While most of the population live without- getting all to familiar with the stale, and even calling the un-fresh- fresh.

God’s on a level of creativity with flowing rivers, offering cold fresh water and immunity to the moldy and the same ole same ole. Say, fresh wine!

The question is, “Do you love the path of life you’re own enough to stay there 20 years from now?” If so, you’re the exception.

How does ‘one’ get off; How does ‘one’ change? The only answer is found through Jesus Christ. Sound corny; to familiar? “How bout a new answer.” Getting in harmony, or in-sink with His thoughts, while playing life on His field; moreover, you have home-field advantage every time.

Walking in, or through a dry and dusty land? Stop and think, where has all my time gone?

Today as well as tomorrow, you can truly change. Presently, you can dive into a new adventure, with new purpose, along with tighter guidelines- You and God, walking hand n hand, dwelling (living) fully aware of His Spirit and truth at all times.

As Jesus ‘walked,’ ‘did,’ and ‘was’ ministry- He stayed in-sink with His Father having His mind, His thoughts- Remember, He’s your Father also- Jesus is your elder brother.

John 14:16-27NLT Gives every challenged believer answers. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. 18 No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. 19 Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. 20 When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”

22 Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to him, “Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?” 23 Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them. 24 Anyone who doesn’t love me will not obey me. And remember, my words are not my own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent me. 25 I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. 26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. 27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

~St. Augustine- “God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.” Remember, Romans 8:1ASB Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

It is a great delusion to think our times of prayer ought to differ from other times. We are as strictly obliged to cleave to God by action in the time of action as by prayer in the season of prayer.” In short, he advocated that we “pray without ceasing.” (Brother Lawrence (1614-1691)
