Summary: There are dimensions to prayer, levels that we can access or approach God through. We approach Him differently based on our needs and circumstances.

1 The first dimension of prayer is to approach God as a Father (Romans 8:15) tells us that we have received the spirit of adoption, adopted into His Kingdom. Abba means endearing, loving always accepting, non-rejecting one.

A father gives bread, provision for his children. He is always looking to take care of his family. God is our father and He is always looking to provide for us

2 Second dimension we approach Him as a friend (John 15:15) He calls us friends , he can trust us with secrets

Abraham was called God's friend, the evilness of Sodom & Gomorrah demanded Justice but God is always looking for a way to be merciful, He is plenteous in mercy (Psalms 103:8) When we approach Him as a friend it's a posture of intercession (Genesis 18:22,23) When we bring the needs of others not just our own.

3 We approach Him as a judge (Luke 18:1-8) when we deal with the adversary, the enemy of our soul the devil.

The adversary -one who brings a lawsuit anti-decos legal Greek word

The enemy has a legal right or devises a case (Revelation 12:10)

The accuser, the complaint in the courts of heaven. When we approach Him as a judge like the story of the widow in Luke 18:1 the word tells to pray and not faint it gives us a blueprint to be persistent in asking. In (Luke 18:7) it tells us that God will avenge us when we cry day and night because of the adversary and he repays us for what the enemy has unjustly brought into our lives when we cry out to Him.
