Developing A Fervent And Effective Prayer Life*

Topic: *DEVELOPING A FERVENT AND EFFECTIVE PRAYER LIFE*

Romans 8:26-27 King James Version (KJV)

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Beloved, most people struggle with prayer. Sometimes they don't pray because they don't know what to say, or feel they can't express themselves better, or think there are some calculated steps to follow or there is a special way that you have to approach our Everloving Father in heaven. Sometimes too, they get tired praying or prayer becomes boring and they just stop.

Beloved, if you fall in any of these groups it is not strange. The one thing you should do is to not pray by your might or strength but pray by the leading of Precious Holy Spirit. He is in you and also comes upon you to help you pray fervently and effectively.

If you are gifted with praying in tongues, invite Precious Holy Spirit in wherever you are before you start praying and begin to speak in tongues, He will take over as you pray and lead you through your prayer session.

*If you are not gifted with praying in tongues, it's no problem at all.* Speaking in tongues is not the only sign of Precious Holy Spirit or the only way to pray in the Spirit (but still covet this gift to receive it); invite Him in wherever you are and ask Him to help you pray, then begin to speak in any language of your choice; He will take over as you speak and lead you through the right prayer path and He will do everything for you.

Beloved when you get into your prayer room or wherever you pray in the morning , just say *GOOD MORNING PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT* then when you are done with the morning pleasantries, welcome Him by saying *WELCOME HOLY SPIRIT AND THANK YOU FOR BEING WITH ME ALWAYS*

As a child of God, when you do this know He is there and ready to manifest for the purpose for which you invited Him and any other purpose that is according to the will of God.

At this moment, you may put on some nice worship songs and sing along or begin to worship in your own unique way according to His leading and it would be a wonderful experience of prayer.

Beloved when you do this, you will enjoy your prayer time so much that you can't wait for the next session.

Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. May God bless you and help you to enjoy wonderful prayer sessions that will make you pray and pray and pray again.
