Deliverance: God Knows How To Deliver.

DELIVERANCE… GOD KNOWS HOW TO DELIVER.

Did you hear about the man who wife was expecting a baby any time? He took her to the grocery store! He heard they had free delivery?

*DELIVERANCE: to bear, to give to another’s care, to give birth to, to bring life, to bring or hand over, to provide --- something promised or expected, to set free, to surrender,

WE NEED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE LORD IS OUR SAVIOR AND OUR DELIVERER.

Will we acknowledge I can’t BUT GOD CAN! The Father has come into a COVENANT CONTRACT TO BLESS US WITH HIS STRENGTH. God’s plan is to liberate and free us. GOD WILL RESCUE HIS PEOPLE.

DELIVER US --- to hand over, to leave in another’s care.

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 6:13 (MSG) Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil. You're in charge! You can do anything you want! You're ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes.

GOD KNOWS HOW TO DELIVER… GOD HAS THE POWER… GOD IS NOT SURPRISED WHEN WE ARE CHALLENGED TO FACE FIERY TRIALS.

2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

2 Peter 2:9 (MSG) So God knows how to rescue the godly from evil trials. And he knows how to hold the feet of the wicked to the fire until Judgment Day.

2 Peter 2:9 (NLT2) So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.

God our Father takes great joy in delivering his people. GOD KNOWS HOW TO KEEP HIS WORD… HIS PROMISES ARE SURE.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9 (NLT2) The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

GOD GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEAK,,, WHEN WE ARE FACING PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL STRESS

GOD WILL GIVE A WAY OF ESCAPE.

NO TRAP, NO DESIGN CAN COME BEFORE GOD’S PEOPLE WITHOUT THE ENEMY PROVIDING AN ESCAPE ROUTE.

*ESCAPE: to break free from control, free from confinement, to avoid dead,

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

There can be several levels of entrapment. 1. Possessed; 2. Oppressed; 3. Depressed; 4. Just a big mess.

Psalm 32:7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction

WE MUST LEARN TO IDENTIFY THE ETERNAL SIGNS THAT A PERSON NEEDS DIVINE DELIVERANCE!

Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

1. EXCESSIVE DEPRESSION AND EXCESSIVE SLEEPINESS.

2. BEING CONTINUALLY ANGRY, BITTER AND RESENTFUL.

3. BEING BORED ALL THE TIME, SEEKING ENTERTAINMENT, GAMES.

4. HABITUAL, REPETITIVE BEHAVIOR.

5. LOST OF INTEREST IN FRIENDS, FAMILY, CHURCH, JOB… ISOLATION.

6. HAVE TROUBLE MAKING DECISIONS. BEING IN-DECISIVE.

7. CONSTANTLY TIRED, NO REST.

8. FILLING A SENSE OF DREAD LIKE SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

9. ALWAYS JUDGING OTHERS AND BEING CRITICAL.

10. FEELING INFERIOR /// SUPERIOR TO OTHERS.

11. EMOTIONALLY UP-DOWN- UP –DOWN… EMOTIONAL SEE –SAW!

12. LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD, DAY DREAMING ON REGULAR BASIS.

13. CRYING ON A REGULAR BASIS.

14. NIGHTMARES OFTEN.

15. BEING IN A MENTAL FOG.

16. TREAT MILL LIFE STYLE.

17. HARD TO STAY FOCUSED, WANDERING MIND.

18. COMPLAINING, GRIPING, AND ARGUING.

GOD SHALL DELIVER YOU OVER AND OVER AGAIN…

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

CONCLUSION: In the early ‘70’s I had the most real dream. I dreamed six little snakes the size of a big earth worm was biting my right hand. I took my left hand and grabbed the six baby snakes. I went to the infirmary where there was a nurse on duty. I asked her if the bites of the little snake was deadly. She informed me, one of the small snake’s bite was not harmful but she did not know if six bites would be fatal?
