Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

1. Death is UNAVOIDABLE. - Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Death is UNPREDICTABLE. - Gen 27 Isaac - 1 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I. 2 And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:

3. Death is IMPARTIAL.

No one is immune. No one escapes death in this life.

Death is no Respector

Of Riches. Of Race. Of Religion. Of Renown.

4. Death is TEMPORAL. - John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

(d) How Delivered His Spirit I will fear no evil

(e) How Dependable His Saviour for thou art with me

(f) How Delightful His Song thy rod and thy staff they comfort me

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
