DARE 2 B DIFFERENT: In Missions/Evangelism
Matthew 28:18-20
I. Embody His Name – Reflect His Character in Missions
A. Go with Authority: His was a Sure Character
B. Go with Purity: His was a Sinless Character
C. Go with Compassion: His was a Sacrificial Character
Shift from Self-centered Thinking to Other-centered Thinking.
II. Embrace His Mission – Make Disciples
A. Saved to Serve & Made for a Mission
B. Christ’s Mission of making disciples involves the world
1. “Ta Ethnae’” – People Groups
2. Simultaneous disciple-making efforts – Acts 1:8 Strategy
a. Jerusalem – Hometown Missions
b. Judea – State Missions
c. Samaria – North American Missions
d. World – International Missions
3. Mission Partners make it possible – “For we are God’s co-workers.” 1 Corinthians 3:9a (HCSB)
