Ps 95: 1-6

95:1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Joyful noise = shout

Many times we have said just make a noise unto the Lord.

Thanksgiving -

Ps 100: 1-5

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Ps 126:2

2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.

They were happy people

Notice: It never says that coming into His presence is praise.

It what you do in His presence.

Today church Satan has been aloud to counterfeit the Praise and Worship of the Lord.

How does he do that preacher?

Satan has replaced our music in the church with lyrics of songs that are unscriptural.

Here is a few examples:

“I shall not be moved” pg 13 of the Heavenly Highway Hymns.

When the song was written the writer had good intentions,…

He repeated the phrase I shall not be moved 6 times in on verse.

The thing that makes it unbiblical is not the verses,… but the phrase.

Many church members, sitting in the pews today are saying to their self,…

I want be moved,…

I want be moved to sing,…

I want be moved today to pray,…

I want be moved to tell my love one about Christ,..

I want be moved to help teach a Sunday school class,…

I want be moved to do anything that might take some of my time,…

Therefore we will not sing this song. Amen

John 14:1-3

This is a song full of Catholic doctrine. It has nothing in it about God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. Its all about be true to your earthly Father and the faith that they had in God.

There are many others in our songbook, that do not praise and worship God.

Bro John does a great job at picking out Biblical, uplifting songs.

Many of the Christmas Carols are not scriptural.
