CHRIST is our life, we derive our strength from Him to move and we exist in Him.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. In CHRIST we live

"For in Him we live"

1. The word "live" came from the Greek word:"zao" a verb, meaning to live (literally or figuratively), lifetime, live, quick.

Real life or real living is found only in CHRIST not in ourselves.

Galatians 2:20 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

1 Peter 1:23 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

1. The word "move" came from Greek word:"kineo" meaning to stir, to go, to move

The principle of the very life and principle of motion comes from the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

1 Corinthians 1:8 (Amplified Bible)

And He will establish you to the end [keep you steadfast, give you strength, and guarantee your vindication; He will be your warrant against all accusation or indictment so that you will be] guiltless and irreproachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

C. In CHRIST we exist.

1. The word "being" or "exist" came from the Greek word:"esmen" meaning "we are", "we be", "we have our being"

We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.

But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.

IX. CONCLUSION:

We live in Him, move in Him and are in Him. Without Him we are nothing and we can do nothing.
