HOW CAN WE SING A SONG? CHANGE?

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

As many great teachers have taught, I like to start my lessons with a QUESTION. Name me 5 things you would change in this world if you could? NOW LET US CONSIDER THIS QUESTION IN THE LIGHT OF REALITY. So we need to look at the facts. Whatever you would like to see changed IN THE WORLD is not under the power of your hands. SO LET US GET REAL AND ASK THE QUESTION YOU COULD FIX. LIST 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF. List them in a priority order. What do you need to change the most?

I have learned a lesson that I would like to teach the world. THAT PERSON THAT IS MAD AT YOU and been so cruel. Their anger is not at all about you. They made the choice of anger and bitterness long before now. They blame you. You have nothing to do with their wrath, anger and bitterness. You are just the focus at this moment. BE HONEST, THEY ARE MAD AT THE WORLD. THEIR GREATEST ANGER WILL BE FOUND IN THEIR HEART.

SEEMS GOD’S PEOPLE ARE IN A DEEP PICKLE… THIS JOURNEY IS NOT AT ALL THE WAY I PLANNED IT. NO HOPE? WE HAVE NO HOPE?

WE ARE NOT SITTING ON THIS RIVER BANK FISHING. We have made bad choices and strayed far away from the PLAN and PURPOSE OF GOD. What am I doing sitting on the banks of this river? People have been mean and cruel. HOME IS A FADED MEMORY. We are crying, then crying some more and after that we will cry some more.

Memory Lane is a poor place to dwell. WE QUIT.WE QUIT SINGING… THESE STUPID MEAN CAPTORS ARE MAKING DEMANDS OF US…

Psalm 137:1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. 2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. 3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. 4 How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?

WE HAVE ALL THESE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS HANGING IN THE WILLOW LIMBS. Can you believe these PAGANS WANT US TO PLAY WORSHIP SONGS? THEY DEMAND WE PLAY HAPPY SONGS. Listen these pagans are making fun and mocking us. HOW SHALL WE SING THE LORD’S SONG IN THE RAT HOLE?

CAN WE MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES? Life is going to change. GROW, INCREASE, DEVELOP, MENTOR. WE REFUSE TO CHANGE, HANG IT UP!

I REFUSE TO CHANGE… I WILL NOT HEED THE WARNING FROM THE PREACHER… NEBUCHADNEZZAR WAS HUMBLED BY GOD… THE PREACHER WARNED THE PAGAN KING AT LEAST 2 TIMES, CHANGE OR PAY A TERRIBLE PRICE.

Nebuchadnezzar REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE GOD! He was selfish and in love with himself. He was a braggart. He did not recognize those that helped him… NEBUCHADNEZZAR TOOK (PRIDE) CREDIT FOR HIS SUCCESS.

Daniel 4:25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

THE FOCUS OF LIFE IS ALL ABOUT ME, MYSELF, AND I… PRIDE…

Daniel 4:30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

STUBBORN, PRIDEFUL, SELFISH COST. WHY NOT CHANGE?

Daniel 4:33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

Daniel 4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO FEAR MORE OF GOD… I WILL TELL YOU WHEN YOU WILL CHANGE!

You will change when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
