Jeremiah 31:33 (Amplified Bible)

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. GOD always answers when we call upon Him

"Call to Me and I will answer you"

Call or "qara" in Hebrew meaning:

1. to call out to

2. properly address by name

3. call forth, cry, guest, invite, mention, give name, preach, proclaim, pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say

When we pray, we call upon the Name of the LORD.

Answer or "anah" in Hebrew meaning:

1. properly to eye

2. to heed, to pay attention

3. to respond

4. to begin to speak

5. to sing, shout, testify, announce, give account, utter, bear witness, bring low, lift up

My personal testimony is when after I pray, the LORD teaches me in the WORD a lot about the things that I prayed, it's not intentional of me to open up a specific verse, but I use a bible reading guide always when I read and meditate, verses will stand out in relation to the things I prayed about, and I'm overwhelmed by the WORD. We have an awesome and amazing GOD.

Jeremiah 29:12 (Amplified Bible)

29:12 Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you.

Deuteronomy 4:7 (Amplified Bible)

4:7 For what great nation is there who has a god so near to them as the Lord our God is to us in all things for which we call upon Him?

Joel 2:32 (Amplified Bible)

2:32 And whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered and saved, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the remnant [of survivors] shall be those whom the Lord calls.

Romans 10:13 (Amplified Bible)

10:13 For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.

Acts 2:17-21 (Amplified Bible)

2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams.

2:18 Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God’s kingdom].

2:19 And I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth beneath, blood and fire and smoking vapor;

2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the obvious day of the Lord comes—that great and notable and conspicuous and renowned [day].
