Summary: Sin is Sin
I Sin is wrong.
A Everyone has a conscience. We know when we have done wrong.
B James 4:17 If you are not doing right then you are sinning.
C Sin cannot be reasoned about.
D. Sin is black and white. There is no gray area.
II Sin is known.
A. We realize what we have done. Mistakes are not sin.
B. Others realize when we sin. Matt 7:20 By their fruit.
C. The Bible will show us our sin.
III Sin can be forgiven.
A God made provision for all to be saved. John 3:16
B No sin is too great. 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
IV Sin can be vanquished.
A Once saved we stop sinning. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
B There is a second step that removes the bent to sinning. Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin
There is a solution to sin.
1.Confess it out.
2.Believe it’s gone
3.Stop doing it.
