I AGAIN FIND MY SELF SEARCHING: DO I TRUST GOD? DO I REALLY TRUST GOD? OFTEN FAITH DIES IN NEGATIVE, REACTIVE AND PASSIVE SOIL… QUE SERA SERA: WHAT WILL BE WILL BE. FAITH MUST STAY POSITIVE AND BE PRO-ACTIVE. THIS PAIN, THIS PROBLEM CAN’T BE GOD COULD IT?

*DO YOU HAVE “SO WHAT FAITH?

1. THERE IS DEAD FAITH…

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

2. THERE IS DEMONIC FAITH.

James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

3. THERE IS VAIN FAITH.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

4. I KNOW FAITH: JOB SAYS I DECLARE FOR A FACT BY FAITH! JOB SAYS: THOUGH THE SKIN WORMS DEVOUR?

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

WE LIVE IN A DAY OF DARK DEPRESSION, WORRY, FEAR, PAIN, ANXIETY AND UNCERTAINTY. WE MUST ASK CAN WE FIND CERTAINTY IN THIS DARK WORLD? THE ANSWER IS THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY --- BY FAITH.

Do I trust God is in control? LIFE AS WE KNOW IT IS TEMPORARY AT BEST. The old song says: This world is not my home, I am just passing through, MY TREASURES ARE LAID UP…

GOD GIVES EVERYONE A MEASURE OF FAITH… I CALL IT ENOUGH: ENOUGH FAITH.

If you are going to face little problems, your measure of faith will be small? Medium problems? Large problems? Large faith.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

DOES OUR SPIRIT PERSON RECOGNIZE GOD GAVE HIS ONLY SON… THERE IS MORE THAN RELIGIOUS TRADITIONS AND CEREMONIES… GOD INVITES US TO KNOW HIM AND DEVELOP A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP

WITH HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. Do we have faith?

*SEVERAL QUESTIONS WE MUST CONSIDER:

*WHY DO I BELIEVE WHAT I BELIEVE?

*IN WHOM DO I BELIEVE?

*WHAT DO I BELIEVE?

*DO I HAVE TRANSFORMING FAITH? Do I believe but I am never changed? WE CALL THIS DENIAL FAITH…

*LET US CONSIDER SOME QUESTIONS OF CREDIBILITY:

*DO I BELIEVE THAT GOOD COMES OUT OF BAD?

*DO I BELIEVE GOD CAN DO THIS?

*DO I BELIEVE GOD CAN DO THIS FOR ME?

*WHEN DO I BELIEVE GOD WILL DO THIS FOR ME?

LORD, WILL YOU INCREASE OUR FAITH? WE CANNOT EARN FAITH? FAITH IS A DIVINE GIFT…

BUT IF NOT! FAITH PROCLAIMS I WILL HAVE FAITH AND TRUST GOD’S PLAN EVEN WHEN I DON’T UNDERSTAND THIS TEST AND TRIAL.

Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

WHY ASK GOD FOR MORE FAITH IF WE ARE NOT USING WHAT FAITH WE ALREADY HAVE?

Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. 6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

FAITH IS NOW? WHY AM I GOING THROUGH THIS? YESTERDAY FAITH MAKES A GREAT TESTIMONY --- TELL IT LIKE IT WAS…

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1 (MSG) The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see.
