Ø I am reminded of the witty line that a Senior Pastor used on me when he mentioned I was about to receive a pay raise. He said, "Now remember, this pay increase becomes effective as soon as you do!"

Ø The word ‘do’ and its derivatives is used 26 times in the book of James and more than 1,100 times in the New Testament.

Ø As a people who are commanded not only to know, but to ‘do’, are we like guilty of telling Jesus “I don’t do windows”?

I. Committed, but comfortable, 57-58

A. His commitment was only seen in what he said, 57

Conclusion:

Ø Did any of these individuals ‘do windows’? No!

Ø How can we tell…

1. The first man volunteered, as long as he could stay in his comfort zone

2. The second man was called, but to busy to answer

3. The third man said he was committed, but his family came first

Ø No of these men were what they said they were. In other words, they were hypocrites
