Summary: What’s the first thing you suppose to do when you get into your car?

Why do you buckle up? Over 63% of people killed in accidents aren’t wearing seat belts. Seat belts save over 9,500 lives each year.

Derrick Thomas the late defensive end of the Kansas City Chiefs wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, when he lost control of his car on an icy highway. He was ejected as was another passenger, and both died from their injuries, a friend in the back who was wearing his seatbelt was treated for minor injuries and released! It only take 3 seconds to put on your seat belts those 3 seconds could save your life.

Why wearing a seat belt is important?

The reason why wearing a seatbelt is important is because seatbelts are designed to protect, it is the law and statistics prove that wearing a seatbelt is safer than not wearing one at all, and wearing a seatbelt will save a person money on medical bills and related costs due to an accident.Put on the whole Armor of God! Buckle up with the Word of God! Many people are not buckling up with the Word of God and because of that the Devil is having a field day destroying people lives spiritually.

God doesn’t make suggestions? He gives commands. Commands we are to obey. Satan is taken people captive because they are buckling up with the Word of God. We are not regarding the Word of God as important as we should. Movie depicts Christian as being out of touch with reality. Made fun of through out dancing preaching and speaking in tongues.

Peace - Hebrews 12:14 - Follow peace with all me, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord; looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

Faith - Luke 7:50 - And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace

Luke 22:31-32 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Salvation - 2 Samuel 22:3 - The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; thou safest me from violence.

Psalms 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalms 18:30 - As for God, his way is perfect: the Word of the Lord is tried; he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Isaiah 40:8 - The grass wither the flower fades but the Word of our God shall stand for ever.

Prayer - Acts 12:5 - Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Isaiah 66:8 - Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things?

Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day?

or shall a nation be born at once?

for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
