INTRODUCTION

Many of us have heard opportunity knocking at our door, but by the time we unhooked the chain, pushed back the bolt, turned two locks, call back the dog, shut off the alarm - it was gone!

Funny maybe, sound familar, absolutely!

Had Jesus been speaking this morning this would have been the anology He would had used to describe the simularities of today’s response to His call to everyone concerning salvation.

More than once Jesus Himself said, "I stand at the door and knock..." problem is He’s confronted with a sign that says, "Do Not Disturb Day Sleeper!"

Let’s examine how simular today is as He extends a call to many of us!

Main Division

I. The Supper & The Table That Was Ready (15-16)

II. The Summons & The Task That Was Required (17)

III. The Savior & The Truth That Was Rendered (18-24)

Conclusion: Jesus is still tenderly calling you today!
