Summary: Change your living habits serve the Lord with joy.
BOY WHAT A CHANGE
Why Christians do it I just don’t understand but they do question a sinner’s salvation.
I’ve heard just about everything it want ever last. He are she will be doing the same thing.
Why can’t we just pray for them and keep them lifted up to the Lord instead of knocking them
down.
1. Repentance has a change of purpose.
Luke 15
1Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
2And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
3And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Christ received sinners we should too
We should rejoice with them
If we lost a hundred dollars we would shout if we found it
One lost soul is worth more than all the money in the world
2. Change your position through Salvation
Ephesians 2
6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
He makes us sit in heavenly places
He will show us riches and grace through his son
We are changed by Grace through Faith
We can’t be saved by works
3. Justification change of state
Romans 5
1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Through faith God justified our sins
We can have peace though him
He changes our state of mind
4. We change family ties
Ephesians 1
5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
He adopted us through the son
It was his will to save us
He got pleasure in bringing us back to his will
We are now children of God
5. Change of masters
Ephesians 1
7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
New master through the blood
Forgiveness of all our sins
Washed and made whole
According to his Grace
6. Change of life sanctification
1 Thessalonians 5
23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
By faith
Through the Spirit
Preserved till Christ returns
He is faithful to keep us
7. Change of will consecration
Romans 12
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Call from the wild
Give your body to him
Living sacrifice
This is what you should do
Renew your mind
This is the will of the father
You do this for God
