Bow Now Or Later!

Philippians 2:9-11-Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Highly Exalted Him-In the Ancient World the highest honor a ruler could bestow upon someone was to sit them at his right hand. As the right-hand man he could rule, give commands, and pass judgments all in the name of the king.

The highest place in the universe is the right hand of God. To be seated at the right hand of God is to be given a place of supreme honor and authority.

Mark 16:19-So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Acts 2:33-Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

Acts 7:55-56-But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,

and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Jesus Has Been Given Power, Majesty, And Honor.

Jesus Has Been Given A Crown And A Throne.

Jesus Is King!

It doesn’t matter who the president is (If you like him or not like him), or who your boss is (If you got a good one or a mean one) Jesus Is In Charge!!!

Jesus Has Been Given The Highest Place In The Universe And Yet He Still Wants To Be The Lord Of Your Life

Name Which Is Above Every Name-Matthew 1:21-And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Some of the names or titles that Jesus is called: Immanuel, Son of God, The Word, The Life, The Light, The Glory Of God, The One Full Of Grace And Truth, The Son Who Makes The Father Known, The Water Of life, The Bread Of Life, The Light, The Door, The Good Shepherd, The Resurrection And The Life, The Way, Truth And The Life, The High Priest, Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace And The Son Of Man

Why so many names? Why so many titles? Why so many descriptions of who He is?

Because we need to know that He can fill and meet every need that we have!

He encompasses everything we every need! End Of Story!!!

That Every Tongue Should Confess That Jesus Christ Is Lord-I don’t care how much money you got, I don’t care what your banking account balance is…Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess!

I don’t care how many dusty trophies you have on your mantelpiece….Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess!

I don’t how much fame you have in this old world….Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess!

I don’t care how many friends you have on face book…Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess!

I don’t care what car you drive, whether it’s a Prius or Merced Bends…Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess!

I don’t care what house you live in, whether it’s a shack or mansion on a hilltop…Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess!

It doesn’t say, “They should confess!” or “They might confess!” or “They ought to confess!”

It says, “They will confess!”

Whether they be on earth, whether they be Heaven, or whether they be in Hell, everybody is going to confess….He Is Lord!

For some, it is what they been saying for years and for some it will be the first time, they have uttered those words out of their mouth!

Dear saints, for us it will be said with tears of joy, but for others it will be tears of sorrow, because they said those words to late!

Glory Of God-There are people in this world that say, “There is no God, there is no one to bow down to, live like you want to live, do what you want to do, do whatever makes you happy!”

BUT THE BIBLE SAYS,

Psalm 14:1-The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”

There is some that say, “God Is Dead!”

I like what the preacher said, when someone said, “That God Is Dead”

He said, “Why wasn’t I notified, I’m member of the family!”

Those same people who say those kinds of things, will one day from their own lips say, Jesus is Lord!
