Summary: Everything I have in life is a blessing from God. Every day is a gift from God.

The blessings of physical needs met.

Everything I have in life is a blessing from God. The car I drive, the house I live in. Clothes, food cell phones. The moment I no longer see things as blessings from God, things begin to own me.

""Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? "And why so you worry about your clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of his own." Matthew 6:25

The importance of contentment.

The blessing of daily providence.

Every day is a gift from God. He works in ways we may not be aware of.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Philippians 4:6

He guides.

We won't often consider god guides us to where he wants us to be. He works in the background arranging situations so that if we are obedient we will end up right where he wants us.

If Pharaoh had not gotten upset with the cupholder and baker.

He protects.

The accidents we barely miss

The conversations we do not hear

The poor decisions we do not make

The danger He shields us from

The temptations we resist.

He rescues.

When we are in trouble, He responds

He lifts us up when we fall

He will restore us like the prodigal son

Shad, Meesh, Abed in the fiery furnace

Blessings of Spiritual Shaping

He is the potter, we are the clay. He shapes us and molds us into what he desires...if we are willing to submit to him.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3

If we allow Him to, God works trough the power of the Holy Spirit to shape our lives spiritually on a daily basis.

We begin to see the fruit of the spirit.

He gives us strength.

Strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak...

He gives us forgiveness

We faithful to repent, He is faithful to forgive

He gives us discipline.

The Lord disciplines those he loves

He gives perseverance and character.

Suffering>perseverance>character>hope

He gives joy.

We have reason for joy every single day.
