BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT

BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT WE KNOW THAT GOD IS WITH US…
Do we know that God is with us in the valleys. We must trust God’s plan. We are not orphans, we come to be with God.
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Emmanuel is God with us. He is an ever present help in a time of trouble.
THERE IS AN IDIOMATIC EXPRESSION: (raining cats and dogs) (green thumb) words meaning something different than literal meaning.
BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT: We are certain of this reality, no doubt, absolutely sure, see clearly, completely true, confidence, no room for questioning, 100% certain it is true.
Shadow: minimal, area where light is deflected --- Doubt: disbelief, uncertain.
BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT THERE IS COMING A DAY OF SEPARATION.
Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
I KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT THAT SIN HAS GRAVE CONSEQUENCES. THERE WILL BE A PAYDAY AT THE END OF THE ROAD.
David thought his sins were a secret? NATHAN TOLD DAVID: THOU ART THE MAN.
2 Samuel 12:1 And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
2 Samuel 12:7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
2 Samuel 12:10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. 11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. 12 For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun. 13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Numbers 32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.
Matthew 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
WE CAN KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF THE DOUBT THAT GOD DEMANDS FAITHFULNESS.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
I KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT THAT WE MUST FORGIVE OTHERS TO RECEIVE FORGIVENESS.
Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgive.
BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT I HAVE LEARNED THAT BITTERNESS WILL ALWAYS BACKFIRE. CALL IT ANYTHING YOU WANT BUT BITTERNESS IS UN-FORGIVENESS.
Acts 8:23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
Hebrews 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; 13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
