Psalm 119:73 - 80 ? Jod - Jot - The Tenth Part.

1. God the Creator

The Source - 73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me:

The Secret - give me understanding,

The Supply - that I may learn thy commandments.

2. God the Controller -

The Saved - 74 They that fear thee

The Satisfied - will be glad when they see me;

The Sanctified - because I have hoped in thy word.

3. God the Corrector -

The Assurance - 75 I know, O Lord,

The Assistance - that thy judgments are right,

The Acceptance - and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

4. God the Comforter - Scroggie: the afflicter . . . is the comforter

His Comfort Sought - 76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness

His Comfort Taught - be for my comfort, according to thy word

His Comfort Brought - unto thy servant.

5. God the Communicator -

The Gift - 77 Let thy tender mercies,

The Grace - come unto me,

The Goal - that I may live:,

The Grounds - for thy law is my delight.

6. God the Chastener

He Chastens the Proud - 78 Let the proud be ashamed;

The Perverse - for they dealt perversely with me without a cause:

The Profane - but I will meditate in thy precepts.

7. God the Consoler

The Connection - 79 Let those that fear thee

The Correction - turn unto me,

The Communion - and those that have known thy testimonies.

8. God the Commander

Of the Heart - 80 Let my heart

Of the Head - be sound in thy statutes;

Of the Hurt - that I be not ashamed.
