Proverbs 31:10-31
I. The evidence of a woman of excellence
A. A woman of excellence is valuable.
Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is worth more than precious rubies. Prov 31:10
B. A woman of excellence has her husband’s absolute confidence.
Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life. Prov 31:11
C. A woman of excellence is devoted to serving others.
She will not hinder him but help him all her life. Prov. 31:12 (NLT)
II. A woman of excellence is focused upon serving others.
A. Her hands are given to serving others.
She finds wool and flax and busily spins it.
Prov. 31:13 (NLT)
Her hands are busy spinning thread, her fingers twisting fiber.
Prov. 31:19 (NLT)
She extends a helping hand to the poor and opens her arms to the needy. Prov. 31:20 (NLT)
B. Her arms are given to serving others.
She is energetic and strong, a hard worker. Prov. 31:17 (NLT)
C. . Her mouth is given to serving others.
When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule when she gives instructions. Prov. 31:26 (NLT)
III. God’s woman is all in God’s control, serving others.
A. Her household has the highest priority.
She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s work for her servant girls. Prov. 31:15 (NLT)
B. Her life’s work produces the praise of her family.
Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her:

C.Her life’s work produces the praise of others.
Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise. Prov. 31:31 (NLT)
IV. How can we really love the our women of excellence in
our lives?
A. Let them make mistakes.
The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother spoke to him about the problem. “They have no more wine,” she told him.
4“How does that concern you and me?” Jesus asked. “My time has not yet come.” John 2:3-4 (NLT)
B. Let them work through their grief.
Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, “This child will be rejected by many in Israel, and it will be their undoing. But he will be the greatest joy to many others. 35Thus, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.”

C. Let them live on in our words.
For instance, God says, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and ‘Anyone who speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.’Matt. 15:4 (NLT)
D. Let them know how they have touched our lives.
